The dance world often demands constant output, resilience, and the ability to push forward through stress and injury with little time for true rest. Balance Retreat for Dancers was created to offer an intentional pause. This weekend retreat provides dancers with the space to slow down, care for their bodies and minds, and build practical tools for sustainable careers, meaningful leadership, and long-term wellbeing – both in dance and in life.

Our Foundation
BALANCE Retreat exists to support dancers in cultivating a healthy, grounded relationship with both their art and themselves. Through intentional movement, reflection, and mindful practices, we bring awareness to thoughts, habits, and expectations that shape the dance experience.

Our mission is to foster balance in life while maintaining authenticity, gratitude, and creativity. BALANCE is a place to honor the dancer’s individual voices while allowing a place to reconnect, reset, and grow, empowering dancers to approach their training and lives with clarity, confidence, and heart.

Movement Specialists
The Balance Retreat for Dancers is guided by professional dancers, choreographers, and a physical therapist/yoga instructor who understand the physical demands, injuries, and mental pressure dancers face. Together, they create a supportive, informed environment that prioritizes safety, intentional movement, and whole-person wellbeing.
